BitGenius supports more than 1000 types of file formats and here are some examples:
Images: JPG/JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, PSD, TIFF/TIF, WMF, RAW, DNG, etc.
Documents: DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, PPT/PPTX, PDF, HTML/HTM, CWK, etc.
Videos: AVI, MP4, MOV, FLV, M4V, 3GP, 3G2, SWF, WMV, MKV, ASF, MPG, etc.
Audio: WAV, WMA, MP3, AIF/AIFF, RealAudio, M4V, WMV, OGG, AAC, etc.
Emails: PST, DBX, EMLX, etc.(from Outlook, Outlook Express and so on)
Archives: RAR, ZIP, ISO, etc.

Firstly, you can use the Filter function to filter the sanned-out data from the file type, file size and time. After that, type the file name or no less than one character in the file name in the search bar and the corresponding data will be found out in no time.

No, you can't. BitGenius is compatible with Windows OS currently.

The only difference between these two versions is that the paid version can save the lost files while the free version not.
