Way 1: Manually create a shortcut for Disk Cleanup.

Step 1: Right-click any blank area on the desktop, choose New in the menu and select Shortcut in the sub-menu.

Step 2: Click Browse in the Create Shortcut window, choose cleanmgr in Local Disk C/Windows/System32 and tap OK in the Browse for Files or Folders window.

Step 3: Click Next to move on.

Step 4: Rename the shortcut, or directly hit Finish to create a shortcut called cleanmgr on desktop.

Way 2: Send the shortcut of cleanmgr to desktop.

Open This PC, type cleanmgr.exe in the search box on the top-right corner, right-tap cleanmgr, point at Send to on the menu and select Desktop (create shortcut) in the sub-list.

Way 3: Send the shortcut of Disk Cleanup to desktop.

Access This PC, enter disk cleanup in the top-right search box, right-click Disk Cleanup, choose Send to in the context menu and hit Desktop (create shortcut) in the sub-menu, as shown in the following picture.

Way 4: Create a BAT file for Disk Cleanup on desktop.

Step 1: Open Notepad from Start menu, and type cleanmgr.exe in it.

Step 2: Press Ctrl+S to open the Save As window, choose Desktop, enter Disk Cleanup.bat in the file name box and tap Save.
