Step 1: Open a file or folder.

Step 2: Click the top-left Customize Quick Access Toolbar icon, and select Show below the Ribbon in the list.

Similarly, to restore its location, tap the Customize Quick Access Toolbar button, and choose Show above the Ribbon.
