When a System shortcut is put on the desktop, you can double-click it to open System without using other methods. Thus, the article introduces how to create such a shortcut on Windows 10 desktop by means of the following three procedures.
Video guide on how to create System shortcut on Windows 10 desktop:
Step 1: On the desktop, right-click blank area, point at New on the context menu and choose Shortcut in the sub-menu.
Step 2: In the Create Shortcut window, enter %windir%\system32\control.exe system and tap Next.
Step 3: Type System in the name box and select Finish.
After these steps, a shortcut named System (see the following picture) is displayed on the desktop.
