Remove New from Context Menu in Windows 10

To prevent others from creating new folder, document, shortcut, contact and other items via the New option (see the following picture) in context menu, you can use the method illustrated here to remove it from the menu.

Steps to remove New from context menu in Windows 10:

Step 1: Turn on Registry Editor.

Step 2: Open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > Directory > Background> shellex >ContextMenuHandlers>New>Default.

Step 3: Change the value data into {D969A300-E7DF-11d0-A93B-00A0C90F2719}, and click OK.
