When you start typing in the search box in Microsoft Edge, you can get the search suggestions automatically based on what you inputted. It is because you have enabled the search suggestions to appear when you type in Microsoft Edge. Is it possible to disable the search suggestions in Microsoft Edge search? Yes, you can follow steps below.
Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge and click three dots in the upper-right corner. After that, choose the Settings option. .
Step 2: On the Settings screen, choose Privacy, search, and services option on the left side. After that, go to the right panel and locate the service section. Click Address bar and search option to proceed.
Step 3: Soon, you see two options about search suggestions are enabled: Show me search and site suggestions using my typed characters and Show me suggestions from history, favorites and other data on this device using my typed characters. When you want to hide the search suggestions, you can toggle off the switch behind these two options.
