Method 1: Turn on or off notification sounds in PC settings.

Step 1: Go to the Search bar by Windows+F, type notification sound in the blank box, choose Settings and tap Turn notification sounds on or off in the results.

Step 2: In PC settings, open Notifications and tap the switch under the "Play notification sounds" setting.

Tip: As shown in the following screen shot, there is a small slider on the switch, so you can also move it to the right to turn on notification sounds, or move it to the left to turn them off.

Method 2: Turn on or off notification sounds in Control Panel.

Step 1: Enter the Control Panel.

Step 2: Input sound in the top-right search box and click Sound in the results.
