But in fact, even though we don\u2019t uninstall Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro, digital ID or files can be removed too.<\/p>\n<h2>Option 1: Remove Digital ID from Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat<\/h2>\n<p>This is Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. It will guide you to <strong>remove Digital ID in Acrobat Pro Preferences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>1. In Adobe Acrobat XI Professional, click on <strong>Edit \u2013 Preferences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>2. Choose <strong>Signatures <\/strong>in the left categories, and click &#8220;More&#8221; after <strong>Identities &amp; Trusted Certificates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click Digital ID, and you can see what they are. Select the digital ID you want to remove. Expand the tree view under Digital IDs and then select <strong>Digital ID Files<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isunshare.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/remove-digital-id-file.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"391\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2313\" src=\"https:\/\/www.isunshare.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/remove-digital-id-file.png\" alt=\"remove digital ID file\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.isunshare.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/remove-digital-id-file.png 600w, https:\/\/www.isunshare.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/remove-digital-id-file-300x196.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Highlight the file name on the list box on the rights.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click the <strong>Detach File<\/strong> button on the Security Settings dialog toolbar.<\/p>\n<p>Or <strong>delete digital ID file<\/strong> in computer:<\/p>\n<p>1. Click Start, and open Computer. Find the <strong>.pfx<\/strong> file named digital ID.
