How to delete blank cells in Excel?<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Select the data range you want to delete blank cells.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> In Home<\/strong> tab, press Ctrl + F<\/strong> to open Find and Replace<\/strong>\u00a0dialog.<\/p>\n

Under Find<\/strong> tab in Find and Replace<\/strong> dialog, click the Options<\/strong>\u00a0to expand all the options you can set when you want to find something in selected excel file.<\/p>\n

For example, if you want to find out all the blank cells in selected data range, choose to Look in<\/strong> “Values<\/strong>” and let Find what<\/strong> be blank. Click Find All<\/strong> and all the blank cells are found.<\/p>\n

How to delete blank rows\/columns in Excel?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Two methods will be listed here for you to delete blank rows or columns that you want to remove from excel data.<\/p>\n

Method 1: Delete blank rows\/columns with Excel command<\/h3>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Select the data range that you want to delete or remove blank or empty rows or columns in Excel.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Open Go To Special<\/strong> dialog.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Press F5<\/strong> and Go To<\/strong> dialog pops up. Click Special<\/strong> in dialog to open Go To Special<\/strong>\u00a0dialog.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Click Home<\/strong> tab and Find & Select > Go To Special<\/strong> option in Editing<\/strong> group. Then Go To Special<\/strong>\u00a0dialog appears.<\/p>\n

Step 4: <\/strong>Click Delete > Delete Sheet Rows\/Delete Sheet Columns<\/strong> in Home<\/strong> tab and Cells<\/strong> group.<\/p>\n

Then all the blank rows or columns will be deleted or removed in Excel.<\/p>\n

Method 2: Eliminate blank rows by Excel filter functionality<\/h3>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Select the range from which you need to remove the blank rows.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Click Home > Sort & Filter > Filter<\/strong> in Editing<\/strong> group.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Select a column and click the filter dropdown, uncheck the values excepting Blanks<\/strong> and click OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
