2 Ways to Choose If Narrator Reads Typed Word and Character

The following two methods help you customize whether Narrator reads your typed words and characters in Windows 10 computer.

Way 1: Make it via the Choose if Narrator reads typed words setting.

Step 1: Enter word in the search box on taskbar, and click Choose if Narrator reads typed words from the items.

Step 2: Toggle on Narrator, and then turn off or on Characters you type and Words you type.

Way 2: Realize the goal in the Narrator's general settings.

Step 1: Launch Narrator.

Step 2: Tap the Narrator icon on taskbar, and choose General in the Narrator Settings window.
