Step 1: Access Registry Editor.

Step 2: Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Schedule/Maintenance.

Step 3: Right-click blank area, point at New and choose DWORD (32-bit) Value in the sub-list.

Step 4: Name the value as MaintenanceDisabled, and then double-tap it.
