Normal is a commonly-used password recovery recovery type.

Once all of optional parameters belong to them are set and "Start" button is clicked, password recovery program will begin to check all possible password combinations one by one, until it finds one that can successfully open imported file. Then it would stop work and show imported file correct password.

1. Password Length

When you know probable number of password characters, please set password Length, including Minimal password length and Maximal password length, which can reduce amount of password combinations. So password recovery time will be shortened comparing to when you don't do anything. You can set it like this. It means the password would not less than 1 character and not more than 8 characters. Only password consisting of 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8 characters will be checked.

set password length

2. Password Range

In this part, password characters type and characters stored in special location of password can be set. It would also shorten password recovery time.

For example, suppose you know the forgotten password begins with "ab", you can type "ab" in Start from input box. Then only passwords beginning with "ab" can be checked after you click "Start" button.

set password starting parameters

2-3 Enter characters password ends with in End at input field.

set password ending parameters

2-4 Another option is User-defined, which could specify characters that are surely included in password.
