Solved Problem: Your Outlook Account Settings Are out of Date

You may have met the error that "Your Outlook account settings are out of date" at the top of Outlook account window. At the end of the line, it provides two options for you: Fix account or Dismiss. Even though click on Fix account button, you will also receive another error saying "The outlook account setting are out of date and cannot fix the account, and the error code is 0x80070426". It is frustrating, right? Take it easy just walk through two solutions below in easy steps to fix it out.

Solution 1: Change the Internet time server to fix the Windows email problem

If the system time is different from the Internet time, the certification will be invalid. In this case, the Outlook receives the error that Your Outlook account settings are out of date.

Step 1: Type Control Panel in the Windows search box and hit Enter.

Step 2: In the Control Panel window, click the down arrow next to View by and select the large icon then click on Date and Time.

Step 3: Switch to Internet Time tab, click on Change settings.

Step 4: Click the down arrow behind Server and change to time.nist.gov, then click on Update now.

Step 5: Type cmd and right-click on the result, select Run as administrator.

Step 6: Copy and paste "ping time.windows.com" without quotes. If the command works normally, you can see the detail seconds.Otherwise, it will tell you Requested time out.

Solution 2: Start Microsoft Account Sign in assistant

Step 1: Press Window + R key to invoke Run dialog box. Input "services.msc" then Enter.

Step 2: Then the Services window will pop up. Scroll and click on Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant, right-click and select Start to run the service. Relaunch your Outlook and see if the error has been solved or not.
