You may have two or more iPhones connected to your Apple ID. Apple ID is critical to your iPhone. Before you can access all Apple services, you must be signed into your Apple ID on your device. Since iOS 10.3, you can check and manage each iOS device connected to your Apple ID.
However, when you sell, give away, or trade in a device, it is recommended that you remove it from your Apple ID to avoid putting your private data at risk. Removed devices will lose access to iCloud and Apple services.
It's actually pretty easy to remove a device from your Apple ID. Here in this article, I would like to share 4 easy ways to remove iPhone from Apple ID device list. Go and see which one works best for you.
Step 1: On your iPhone, open the Settings app on your iPhone. Click the arrow to access your Apple ID.
Step 2: Scroll down on this page and find the iPhone you want to remove and click on it. When the device information is loaded, click Remove from Account and confirm by clicking "Remove". Wait for a while and the iPhone will disappear from the device list.

When you want to stop syncing for all Apple devices, you should turn on syncing on iCloud. Once there, you can turn off the iCloud feature.
When you choose to remove a device from your Apple ID, this iOS device will no longer be connected to your account and will not have access to Apple services. To purchase certain apps, use iCloud, or perform other actions, you will need to sign in to your Apple account on this device again.
