To change the size of apps, text and other items, you can set a scaling level using the two methods illustrated below.

  1. Way 1: Set text scaling level in Control Panel.
  2. Way 2: Set text scaling level in Settings.

Way 1: Set text scaling level in Control Panel.

Step 1: Open Control Panel.

Step 2: Type display in the top-right box, and choose Display from the result.

Step 3: Click set a custom scaling level under Change size of items.

Step 4: As the Custom sizing options window appears, tap the down arrow, select a percentage from the options and hit OK.

Step 5: Click Apply.

Step 6: Choose Sign out now to apply the change.

Way 2: Set text scaling level in Settings.

Step 1: Right-click blank area on the desktop, and choose Display settings in the menu.

Step 2: In the Display settings, under the setting named Change the size of text, apps, and other items: 100% (Recommended), move the scale to the right and tap Apply.
