Windows 10 includes a handy Alarms & Clock (also called Clock in later Windows 10 version) app that does more than show the time—it lets you set alarms, timers, world clocks, and a stopwatch. Here's how to use the alarm feature.
Step 1: Click the Start button, type Clock, and select the Clock (Alarms & Clock) app.

Step 2: In the app's left panel, click Alarm.

Step 3: Go to the bottom right corner and click the Plus icon to add a new alarm. Or you can click the existing alarm to edit.
Step 4: Set the time using the hour, minute, and AM/PM fields. Besides, name your alarm (e.g., "Morning Reminder"). After that, choose a sound, snooze duration, and set repeat days if needed.

Step 5: Click Save to activate your alarm. It will ring even if your device is asleep or the app is closed—provided the device isn't fully turned off.
Q: Can I set multiple alarms?
Yes—just repeat the process. In the Alarm tab you'll see a list of all your alarms with toggles to enable, edit, or delete each.
Q: Do alarms work if my PC is sleeping?
Yes—alarms still fire if the device is locked or sleeping (not shut down), as long as the system allows background notifications. Adjust power settings if you're unsure.
Q: Can I adjust snooze duration?
Absolutely. In alarm settings, choose snooze duration (commonly 10 minutes) to suit your preference.
Q: Will alarms still sound during Focus Assist or Quiet Hours?
Yes. By default, alarms override Focus Assist (also known as Quiet Hours). So even when distractions are minimized, your alarms will still ring.
