How to Prevent Changing Screen Saver in Windows 8/8.1

Step 1: Double-tap the group policy shortcut on the desktop to access the Group Policy Editor.

Step 2: Locate and double-click Prevent changing screen saver in the editor.

In more detail, find it using the path of User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Control Panel/Personalization/Prevent changing screen saver.

Step 3: As the window titled Prevent changing screen saver opens, select Enabled and choose OK to enable the setting.

Note: Suppose you want to allow changing screen saver in the future, you can access the same setting, select Disabled or Not Configured and tap OK.
