Show and Hide Ribbon Interface in Windows 8/8.1

Part 1: Steps to show Ribbon interface in Windows 8

Step 1: Open a file or folder.

For example, you can open Computer folder by the composite key of Windows+E.

Step 2: Make related setting to show the Ribbon interface.

Tap the down arrow on the top right corner to show it. By the way, you can also directly press Ctrl+F1 hotkeys to display the interface.

Part 2: Steps to hide Ribbon interface in Windows 8 computer

Step 1: Open a file or folder.

Step 2: Click the up arrow on the upper right corner, or press the composite key of Ctrl+F1 to hide the Ribbon interface.
