Step 1: Access Control Panel.

Step 2: Choose System and Security in Control Panel.

Step 4: Tap Turn Windows Firewall on or off on the left menu in Windows Firewall interface.

Step 5: As Customize Settings window appears, select Turn on Windows Firewall in Private network settings and Public network settings. Then, check the boxes before Notify me when Windows Firewall blocks a new app. What's more, it is recommended to choose Block all incoming connections, including those in the list of allowed apps under Public network settings.
