With only three procedures, you can create a shortcut for System Restore on desktop in Windows 10 computer, as shown in the following screen shot.

Steps to create System Restore shortcut on Windows 10 desktop:

Step 1: Right-click blank space on the desktop, point at New in the context menu and select Shortcut on the sub-list to open a new shortcut.

Step 2: Type %windir%\system32\rstrui.exe (i.e. System Restore location) in the empty box, and tap Next to move on.

Step 3: Change the default name to System Restore in the box and hit Finish to have the shortcut created.
