Want to share files or printers over a network—or keep them private? Here's how to easily enable or disable File and Printer Sharing on Windows 10.
Step 1: Open Control Panel.
Step 2: Choose View network status and tasks under Network and Internet.

Step 3: Select Change advanced sharing settings in Network and Sharing Center.

Step 4: Choose Turn on file and printer sharing or Turn off file and printer sharing, and tap Save changes.

Step 1: Open Control Panel, then click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center. After that, click Change adapter settings on the left side.

Step 2: Right-click your adapter and select Properties.

Step 3: Under the Networking tab, check or uncheck File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks.
