Renaming a hard drive in Windows 10 can help you organize your storage devices more effectively. The article shows you how to rename hard disk drive on Windows 10 computer in two methods.
Step 1: Right-click a hard disk drive and choose Rename in the context menu.

Step 2: Type new name in the name box.

Note: If you change the name of any system disk, you need to choose Continue in the pop-up Access Denied dialog to provide administrator permission to rename it.
