Step 1: Open Notepad.

Click the bottom-left Start button and tap Notepad in the Start Menu.

Step 2: Input the exe file name of System Configuration.

Type msconfig.exe in the Notepad.

Step 3: Name the document as CMD file and save it to the desktop.

This step can be further divided into the following two procedures.

1. Click the top-left File tab, and choose Save As in the menu.

2. In the Save As window, select Desktop, enter System Configuration.cmd as file name and tap Save.
