6 Ways to Open Internet Explorer in Windows 10

Way 1: Turn Internet Explorer on via its icon on taskbar.

Click the Internet Explorer icon (referring to the following picture) on the taskbar.

Tip: If the icon is missing from the taskbar, you can use other methods illustrated below.

Way 2: Open Internet Explorer by Run.

Press Windows+R to enable Run, type iexplore and tap OK.

Way 3: Access Internet Explorer in Start Menu.

Click the bottom-left Start button, select All apps, open Windows Accessories and hit Internet Explorer.

Way 4: Open Internet Explorer via searching.

Input internet in the search box on taskbar, and choose Internet Explorer from the result.

Way 5: Access Internet Explorer in This PC.

Open iexplore in This PC/Local Disk (C:)/Program Files/Internet Explorer.

Way 6: Open IE via Command Prompt.

Step 1: Turn on CMD.

Step 2: Type "c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore" and press Enter.
