Add Hibernate to Power Options Menu on Windows 10

By default, there are two options including Restart and Shut down in the Power Options Menu on Windows 10 computer. However, it doesn't mean that it is impossible to add new option to this menu. 2 ways to add Hibernate to Power Options Menu on Windows 10:

Way 1: Add Hibernate to Power Options Menu in Control Panel.

Step 1: Open Control Panel.

Step 2: Type power in the top-right search box, and click Change what the power buttons do in the results.

Step 3: Tap Change settings that are currently unavailable to continue.

Step 4: Check the small box before Hibernate in shutdown settings, and hit Save changes.

Way 2: Add Hibernate to Power Options Menu in Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 1: Open Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2: Find the setting named "Show hibernate in the power options menu".

In detail, this setting is located in Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/File Explorer.

Step 3: Double-click the above setting, choose Enabled and tap OK in the setting's window.
