How to Disable or Enable Period Shortcut in iPhone/iPad

In iPhone/iPad, period shortcut refers to the space bar (see the following picture) on keyboard because you can double-click the space bar to insert a period followed by a space. And this article will illustrate how to disable or enable it for your convenience.

Steps to disable or enable period shortcut in iPhone/iPad:

Step 1: Access Keyboard settings.

Open Settings, choose General and click Keyboard.

Step 2: Disable/enable period shortcut.

1. To disable it, tap the switch on the right of "." Shortcut to turn it off.

2. To enable the period shortcut, click the switch to turn on "." Shortcut.
