WordPad is a simple yet powerful text editor included with Windows 10—great for rich-text formatting beyond plain Notepad. Here are six quick ways to turn on Windows 10 WordPad for your reference.
Click the Start button, open All apps, choose Windows Accessories and tap WordPad.

Access This PC/Local Disk (C:)/Program Files/Windows NT/Accessories, and double-click wordpad.

Type pad in the search box on taskbar, and then select WordPad from the result.

Launch Run, input write in the empty box and hit OK.

Access Command Prompt, type write.exe or "c:\program files\windows nt\accessories\wordpad.exe", and then press Enter.

Start Windows PowerShell, input write.exe and tap Enter.
