How to Fix Taskbar Disappeared on Windows 11

“Recently, my Windows 11 Taskbar is missing. It is not convenient for me to use my computer without the Start and Taskbar. Is there any ways to solve this problem?”

As you may already know, the Taskbar is different between Windows 10 and Windows 11. In Windows 10, the Start menu is in the bottom left corner, while in Windows 11, it is placed in the center together with other applications, you can also move the Start menu and Taskbar to the left. Way 1: Uncheck Automatically Hide the Taskbar from Settings

Step 1: Press Win + I simultaneously to open Settings.

Step 2: Click on Personalisation on the left pane, and click on Taskbar on the right pane.

Step 3: In Personalisation>Taskbar screen, please scroll down to click Taskbar behaviours.

Step 4: Next, uncheck the box next to the Automatically hide the taskbar option.

Now, you can see if the Windows 11 Taskbar missing. If yes, try the next method.

Way 2: Restart Your Windows 11 PC from Shut Down Windows

Step 1: Press Alt+F4 simultaneously to open Shut Down windows.

Step 2: Select Restart to restart your computer. After that, click OK.

When the computer turns on again, check if the Start and Taskbar still disappear on Windows 11, and if so, move on to the next method.

Way 3: Restart File Explorer within the Task Manager

Step 1: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc simultaneously to open the Task Manager.

Step 2: In the Task Manager screen, find the Windows Explorer and click it.

Step 3: After hitting Windows Explorer, click on Restart to complete. Now, please check your taskbar on Windows 11.

Way 4: Using Registry Editor

Step 1: Press Win + R at the same time to open the Run windows. Type registry inside the Run box.

Step 2: Expand Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced in Registry Editor screen. Then double-click TaskbarSd to modify its data.

Step 3: There will appear a Edit DWORD(32-bit)Value windows. Type “0” inside Value data and click OK the complete.
