For the majority of Mozilla Firefox users, they might customize their homepage and startup according to their preference. Firefox allows you set different types of homepages.

Step 1: Launch Mozilla Firefox, click the three horizontal lines at the top-right corner and select Options from the drop-down list.

Step 2: In the General tab, under Homepage part, you can set the following types of websites as your homepage.

  1. Input a URL in the blank filed. Thus when you click the home icon front Firefox address bar, you can open a specific website, for example, www.google chrome.com.
  2. Use Current Pages. Firefox will set up the webpage you are opening for your homepage.
  3. Use Bookmark. When you click on this button, you will be guided to your bookmarks folders and choose which one to set for the homepage in Firefox.
  4. Restore to Default. Once you've clicked on this option, the Firefox default search page will be set to your home page.

Tips: When you open a website and wondering to go back to your homepage, you can press the Alt + Home key combination to navigate to homepage directly.

Part 2: Set Startup Firefox Windows 10

Set startup in Firefox can improve work efficiency. You can do the following to troubleshoot.

Step 1: Click on the menu at the top-right corner, then select Options from the list.

Step 2: Under the General tab, scroll down and go to Startup part.

Step 3: Under When Firefox starts section, choose the one you prefer.

  1. Show your homepage: the homepage you set above will be open when you launch your Firefox.
  2. Show a blank page: a blank page will be shown as you restart your browser.
  3. Show your windows and tabs from last time: in this case, your browser will choose to load the webpage that you closed last time you left.
