Therefore, you can do the following to create multiple user profiles in Google Chrome.

Step 1: Open Chrome, at the top-right corner click on your account name.

Step 2: When a small window pops up, click on Manage People.

Step 3: Input a name and select an avatar as you like. If you intend to create the new account for your children, you may want to supervise them. Just check the box of Supervise this person to control and view the websites they visit from your Google Account. At the same time, according to your needs to decide to create a desktop shortcut for this user.

Step 4: Click on Save to save changes. Now you can switch account as you like.

Part 2: How to Find Google Chrome Profile Location for Specific User

Locations of Google Chrome are:

  • Windows 7, 8.1, and 10: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
  • Mac OS X El Capitan: Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default
  • Linux: /home/<username>/.config/google-chrome/default

Just replace Username with your Windows account name. Alternatively, you can follow the steps below to find the profile location if you have more than one account. Otherwise, you cannot recognize the profile folder of the specific user. Here is the tutorial.

  1. Input chrome://version to the address bar and hit Enter.
  2. Find out the Profile Path of your current account. Copy the path and paste to address bar in This PC.
